This piece was designed with Maria, founder of AMK Atelier to function as a true workwear garment, built for durability and longevity. Every element reflects this purpose - from the high-quality fabric and superior thread to the durable trims and thoughtfully engineered design details that reinforce high-stress areas throughout the garment.
Meet the AMK Julia Jacket, a modern take on classic workwear. Crafted from rigid indigo denim, this raglan longline silhouette features contrast ecru stitching, a cinch-tie waist for shape, and authentic details like a metal shank placket and exclusive branded patch. Finished with multiple pockets for everyday function, it’s the perfect balance of utility and effortless style.
Due to the special dye process used to create this finish, colour may transfer onto other garments and upholstery. Care should be taken when wearing. Authentic indigo denim will soften over time and the colour with change to create a unique lived-in look.

Denim loves to be worn, not washed — the less you wash, the longer your colour stays rich and vibrant. Traditional denim is dyed on the surface of the fibres, so repeated washing gradually fades the colour. Aim to wear your jeans around 3 times between washes to keep them looking their best. Freshen them up between wears by airing them and spot cleaning. When it’s time to wash, turn your denim inside out and use a cool cycle (max 30°C) to protect the dye. Line-dry away from direct sunlight, and skip the tumble dryer to prevent shrinkage. If your denim feels a little stiff or creased, a warm iron on the reverse can help smooth out, but wearing will also naturally soften the fibres and mould comfortably to your body.

Great jacket, too much dye
"I love this jacket’s shape and purpose, and it’s great with everything, BUT dark blue dye absolutely falls off it. Everything I wear with it is covered in dye. A bit of transfer is to be expected with dark denim, but this is awful. I washed it and now it has swirly white stripes all over it. Not good enough for the price, so I’m overall disappointed."

Absolutely love this
"It’s so well made. Totally different to any other jacket I have."
