Cotton washes really well on cool temperatures which is great for the environment, cool wash or maximum 30 degrees is enough to refresh cotton garments. Hotter washes can cause pure cotton garments to shrink so the kinder you are to it the kinder it will be to you! After washing, cotton can sometimes feel a bit stiff, but simply wearing the garment will soften it up and allow the natural fibres to mould back to your body. On tough stains; pre-soaking with a 50% water 50% vinegar solution should remove the stain without damaging the fabric. This is also the most natural way to remove stains without using harmful chemicals. Alternatively use a mild stain remover but always pre-test on a discreet area.
