Cotton thrives at cooler temperatures, washing inside out at up to 30°C is perfect. A mild detergent is all you need to keep your garments fresh and feeling their best for longer. Hotter washes can cause shrinkage over time, so choosing a lower-temperature cycle goes a long way.If your cotton feels a bit stiff after washing, don’t worry, that’s completely normal. Simply wearing it will naturally soften the fibres, helping the fabric relax and mould to your body. For stains, treat them early with a simple 50/50 mix of water and vinegar for an easy, chemical-free fix, or use a gentle stain remover (always patch-test first, just to be safe).Whenever you can, let cotton air-dry; it’s gentler on the fabric, helps it hold its shape, and saves energy too.
