"I was sent this as a gift from the brand, so bear that in mind. Regardless, I love that they use RWS wool. The sweater material is thick and quite heavy, and the knit is tight so the garment is really nicely structured even though it’s a bit oversized (I sized up one size to fit more layers underneath). I machine washed it on delicate and with gentle detergent and dried it spread on a rack. Very happy to say it kept its shape and hand feel. It has shed a couple red fuzzies due to friction from washing and the first wears, but nothing abnormal for a softer knit. Comparing it to some sweaters I have of similar weight, weave, and composition, I would expect this piece to be with me for years. It’s softer than my vintage sweaters, so I think I’ll just have to give it a shave every now and then to debobble it."
