Cotton washes really well on cool temperatures which is great for the environment, cool wash or maximum 30 degrees is enough to refresh cotton garments.
Hotter washes can cause pure cotton garments to shrink so the kinder you are to it the kinder it will be to you!
After washing, cotton can sometimes feel a bit stiff, but simply wearing the garment will soften it up and allow the natural fibres to mould back to your body.
On tough stains; pre-soaking with a 50% water 50% vinegar solution should remove the stain without damaging the fabric. This is also the most natural way to remove stains without using harmful chemicals. Alternatively use a mild stain remover but always pre-test on a discreet area.

Although we hope you love what you've purchased, sometimes it doesn't work out. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, you may return the items to us within 28 days of your parcel being delivered, provided that items are in their original condition with tags intact (unless faulty). 

Items must be returned in their original unworn condition with the tags attached for a full refund (excluding our shipping costs). Remember to complete the returns form enclosed with your order and include it in your parcel. All swimwear must be returned with the hygiene sticker attached. Any earrings purchased as part of our Damson Madder x frkl. collaboration are strictly non-returnable due to hygiene reasons.
Any items that have been altered through our SOJO tailoring service are strictly non returnable.

Once your return is received at the warehouse, your refund will be processed. All refunds automatically go back to your original method of payment. It can take up to 15 working days to see a refund on your statement. Please note, outbound shipping cost is not included within your return total.

Once your refund has been processed you will receive email notification confirming the receipt of your return. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. This can take up to 15 working days. If it’s gone over this time, then please contact your card provider and they should be able to help!

Damson Madder was born out of a desire to make exciting designs, responsibly. Run by a small, proudly female-led team from our studio in North London, we release limited collections of around 15-35 pieces per drop, and we only make what we think we will sell; minimising waste and ensuring excess stock doesn’t end up in landfill. Unlike our approach to production, our design handwriting often takes a more-is-more approach, making garments that fit and flatter; each with a unique detail or sign off that makes every piece feel special. This is a body measurement guide and does not reflect the measurements of each garment.
